Abstract
The components shown below are mixed with one another: 3-99% by weight of crystalline polyolefin, for example isotactic polypropylene, 0.4-80% by weight of non-crystalline polyolefin, preferably polyisobutylene, 0.5-95% by weight of pigment and/or filler and optionally other polymers. It is important here that the mixing is carried out in the presence of at least 0.1% by weight, expediently 0.5-10% by weight, of a surfactant which is heat-resistant at least up to 110<o>C. This measure enables considerable amounts of filler to be incorporated into the plastic while retaining or even improving essential properties (for example tear strength, elongation at break, flexibility, orientability (stretchability), injection-mouldability, colourability (dyeability).
