A method for isolating a butadiene/acrylonitrile rubber from an aqueous latex which comprises mixing the rubber latex with an aqueous carbon black dispersion, coagulating the mixture, treating the coagulated rubber particles with a water-dispersible non-stick material and either during or after coagulation and separating the coagulated product from the aqueous phase.
