Pneumatic apparatus for selective feeding of yarns on knitting machines, comprising, moving relative to the machine needles, a plurality of passages converging towards an outlet adjacent and substantially perpendicular to the needle front; each step being occupied by a respective wire and in communication with a pneumatic source arranged to send said wires towards said outlet, and a corresponding plurality of supply members for the respective wires, movable between a rest position in which they retain the thread, removing it from the action of the pneumatic means, and a working position in which they carry the thread under the influence of such pneumatic means.
