An apparatus for converting a serial pulse train to an analog output signal, comprising: a combination of an operational amplifier, capacitive means, and resistive means arranged to integrate the serial pulse train, and means capable of changing the resistance of said resistive means from one value to another to change the RC time constant of said resistive and capacitive means when the input digital signal changes from one state to another.
