Abstract
Procedimiento para la producción de un gas que contiene dióxido sulfúrico, de una solución acuosa de sulfato amónico la cual se produce en las síntesis de compuestos orgánicos, como por ejemplo caprolactama como producto derivado, caracterizado porque la solución de sulfato amónico es concentrada por evaporación mediante directo intercambio térmico con gas caliente, separándose el sulfato amónico sólido, siendo quemado el sulfato amónico junto con un combustible y un gas, que contiene oxígeno, a temperaturas entre 850ºC y 1250ºC, formándose un gas que contiene dióxido sulfúrico, efectuándose la concentración de la solución de sulfato amónico por vaporización por contacto con el gas de combustión de elevada temperatura.
