Abstract
A method of manufacturing an abrasive tool, in which a bonding material is prepared by combining an organic polymer material with 10 to 60% by volume of finely divided silver, silver-plated copper or copper, or a combination of these and also combining with 5 to 30% of a load of particulate dry film lubricant, the bonding material is combined with selected diamond abrasive grains and cubes of boron nitride plated metal, the abrasive containing the material is profiled in tool shape and profiled shape is subject to hardening conditions to harden the polymer.
