Refinements in inking elements, of the type having a polyester film substrate and a synthetic resin film on at least one of the surfaces of said substrate, from which the color is squeezed in liquid form when the inking element is subjected under pressure, said synthetic resin film comprising at least one organic resin, a colored material selected from the group consisting of dyes, pigments and mixtures thereof and an organic liquid vehicle for said colored material; characterized by applying a binder layer, consisting of a linear, solvent-soluble polyester material, on said substrate and by debossing of said synthetic resin film and in contiguous contact with it.
