Abstract

Improvement in penetration anchors, characterized in that such anchors comprise a projectile assembly containing in an anchor body with anterior and posterior ends, and a prolonged and separable body fastened and extended rearwardly from the posterior end of the anchor body; a recoil assembly coupled with the extended body; the projectile assembly and the recoil assembly are normally in a suitable coupling relationship; propulsion means to provide force acting between the projectile and recoil assemblies, to propel the former from the latter, for embedment of the anchor body, and means for forcibly separating the extended body from the anchor body, when operating the means propulsion that tend to separate the projectile assembly from the recoil assembly.
