Abstract

Device for cooling a heat-carrying fluid of a heat engine comprising a radiator (1, 16, 31) fixed on a chassis for example of a motor vehicle, and at least one motor-fan unit (4, 17, 32) comprising an electric motor (5, 18, 33) and a propeller (7, 20, 34), whose hub (9, 22) is constituted by a bowl, whose edge surrounds part of the electric motor and which is fixed on the shaft of the electric motor, characterized in that the electric motor (5, 18, 33) is fixed directly to the radiator by fixing means (11, 12, 13, 25, 26, 27) located to the right of the projection of the transverse extent of the bowl of the propeller and in that the edge of the bowl surrounds the part of the electric motor (5, 18, 33) and the part of the fixing means projecting from the radiator.
