Abstract

Correa trapezoidal, que comprende un cuerpo de material polímero flexible, una pluralidad de insertos resistentes y longitudinales, paralelos entre si sobre un anillo concéntrico con la correa y orientados según la dirección longitudinal de la misma, estando una porción del cuerpo delimitada por flancos aptos para contactar con superficies correspondientes de la garganta de una polea en una transmisión, correa caracterizada por el hecho de que al menos porción del cuerpo comprende una pluralidad de estratos da uno de ellos con fibras orientadas en una sola dirección, estando los estratos superpuestos alternativamente, con las fibras orientadas substancialmente en dirección longitudinal y los otros en dirección substancialmente transversal, siendo el espesor de cada estrato menor o a lo una igual a la longitud media de las fibras presentes en el estrato.
