Abstract

A conveyor device for elongate products (2) has first and second endless belts (5,18) with respective directions of advance (X-X, Y-Y) inclined at an angle ( phi ) to each other, the first conveyor belt (5) having one end (5b) disposed diagonally with respect to the direction of advance (X-X). The second belt (18) is driven at a faster speed (V2) than that (V1) of the first belt (5) and has one end (18b) adjacent and parallel to the end (5b) of the first conveyor belt (5). The conveying of elongate products along an angled path is thus permitted, while causing rotation of the products (2) from an orientation transverse the direction of advance (X-X) of the first belt (5) to an orientation substantially parallel to the direction of advance (Y-Y) of these second belt (18).
