Abstract

Un proceso para la dosificación de partículas de polímero superabsorbente en una pluralidad de flujos de partículas, que comprende las etapas de: (i) proporcionar partículas de polímero superabsorbente; (ii) transmitir un giro a dichas partículas, realizándose dicha etapa (ii) con móvil giratorio (11) que tiene una forma de J derivada de una parábola que tiene su eje en el radio de dicho móvil a una distancia del 65 % al 90 % desde el centro y/o con un ángulo formado por la curva J en la periferia del móvil con el plano ecuatorial de 5 º a 30 º, donde el móvil giratorio (11) se proporciona en una carcasa (12), y un hueco entre el móvil (11) y la carcasa (12) es de 5 mm a 20 mm; y (iii) recoger una serie de flujos separados de partículas de 2 a 8 de una cortina homogénea (13) de partículas que caen a través de dicho hueco.

La distribución del tamaño de partícula también se determina para las partículas que entran en el dispositivo de distribución y las partículas comprendidas en cada abertura de salida respectiva. La tolva y el tornillo son parte del dispositivo de alimentación y estos valores representan la DTP de la SAP que entra.
5 La DTP puede medirse de acuerdo con el Ensayo de Referencia recomendado por EDANA N.º WSP 220.3.10 "Determination of the particle size distribution by sieve fractionation" (Determinación de la distribución del tamaño de partícula mediante fraccionamiento por tamiz). De acuerdo con el documento EP 1 730 218 la desviación típica logarítmica de una DTP puede determinarse como se indica a continuación: en primer lugar, la distribución del
10 tamaño de partícula se determina mediante tamizaje. Los porcentajes de fracción retenida R en cada tamaño de partícula se representaron en una escala logarítmica. La desviación típica logarítmica (σζ) se proporciona como σζ = 0,5 x ln(X2/X1), donde X1 y X2 son diámetros de partícula para R = 84,1 % en peso y R = 15,9 % en peso.
