A cada sfmbolo se asignan respectivamente dos interruptores, pudiendose ajustar con uno de los interruptores la posicion indicada por medio del sfmbolo y pudiendose salir con el otro interruptor de dicha posicion para volver a la posicion inicial. Por lo tanto, a cada posicion regulable se asignan dos interruptores. Esto significa que para tres posiciones regulables se preven en conjunto seis interruptores para poder regular solamente tres posiciones o salir de las mismas para volver a una posicion basica. Mientras que la disposicion en el conmutador manual representado en la memoria impresa todavfa resulta clara, se multiplica el trabajo cuando se anaden otras posiciones mas que se pueden controlar. La configuracion de los conmutadores manuales resulta mas compleja y menos clara.
