Abstract
Un método para manejar un dispositivo de medición de analito (12) que tiene un monitor, una interfaz de usuario, una pluralidad de botones de interfaz de usuario, que incluye botones para desplazarse en la interfaz de usuario (8, 9) y un botón OK (7) y un procesador conectado al mismo, comprendiendo el método: a) pulsar dicho botón OK (7) para introducir un modo menú; b) pulsar uno de dichos botones de desplazamiento de la interfaz de usuario (8, 9) para seleccionar la opción de habilitar las banderas seleccionables por el usuario, cada una de dichas banderas seleccionables por el usuario correspondiendo a una condición de "antes de comida" (62) o "después de comida" (64); c) activar dicho botón OK (7) para confirmar la elección de habilitar las banderas seleccionables por el usuario; d) medir un analito con el medidor de medición de analito (12); e) mostrar un valor representativo del analito; f) pulsar uno de dichos botones de desplazamiento de la interfaz de usuario (8, 9) para seleccionar al menos una bandera seleccionable por el usuario; y g) confirmar la selección de al menos una bandera seleccionable por el usuario con el valor representativo del analito usando dicho botón OK (7); y h) mostrar el valor y la bandera en el monitor;
