Abstract
Proceso continuo para producir neral de la fórmula (I)**Fórmula** en forma pura con un contenido de neral mayor o igual a 95% en peso, respecto de la cantidad total, mediante separación por destilación de neral a partir de mezclas de sustancias que contienen neral y geranial de la fórmula (II)**Fórmula** en cuyo caso la separación por destilación se realiza en una columna de pared divisoria o en una interconexión de dos columnas de destilación en forma de un acoplamiento térmico con 80 hasta 200 platos teóricos y uno o varios sitios de extracción lateral a una presión absoluta de operación de 5 hasta 200 mbar, caracterizado porque se emplea una mezcla de sustancias que está compuesta en 30 hasta 70 % en peso de neral, en 70 hasta 30 % en peso de geranial y en 0 hasta 5 % en peso de otros componentes, en cuyo caso los datos porcentuales suman 100% en peso.
