Abstract

Sistema de detección y aviso de cólicos en equinos.#El sistema constituye un complemento al sistema de gestión equina, añadiendo a éstos una funcionalidad de supervisión de los animales, mediante cámaras de videovigilancia y sensores de temperatura, de sonido, ambientales, etc, con objeto de detectar con prontitud e incluso prevenir los clásicos “cólicos”, que con frecuencia sufren los equinos y que a veces provocan la mortalidad de los mismos. Para ello, el sistema genera un perfil temporal (7) del equino a partir de los datos históricos tomados, que es comparado con un perfil actual (8) realizado a partir de los datos actuales, y de las condiciones ambientales, para valorar a partir de un valor de umbral preestablecido mediante un algoritmo estadístico, determinar el riesgo de “cólico” del equino, y generar la correspondiente alarma de advertencia.Colic detection and warning system in horses. # The system is a complement to the equine management system, adding to them an animal monitoring functionality, using video surveillance cameras and temperature, sound, environmental, etc. sensors, with in order to detect promptly and even prevent the classic "colic", which horses often suffer and sometimes cause their mortality.
