Abstract

Sistema mecánico para la generación de energía eléctrica, mediante el aprovechamiento de la energía procedente del movimiento de las olas (energía undimotriz), basado en el desplazamiento vertical de un contrapeso. El sistema se ubica en el interior de una carcasa, que actúa a modo de boya flotante, y es movida por la acción del oleaje. El contrapeso está unido por un cable de acero, enrollado en una tira-vira, a un peso muerto fondeado. El movimiento ascendente del contrapesase obtiene cuando la boya se eleva por efecto del oleaje.
