Abstract
Un proceso para eliminar dióxido de carbono de un gas de alimentación, que comprende las etapas de: a. introducir un gas de alimentación y un agente absorbente reciclado que contiene dióxido de carbono en una columna de rectificación, b. rectificar dicho agente absorbente reciclado que contiene dióxido de carbono con el gas de alimentación, obteniendo así un gas que tiene una mayor concentración de dióxido de carbono que el gas de alimentación y un líquido de agente absorbente que comprende pequeñas cantidades de dióxido de carbono, c. enfriar el gas obtenido en la etapa b, d. separar el gas enfriado obtenido en la etapa c en un líquido rico en dióxido de carbono y un gas que contiene dióxido de carbono, e. enfriar el líquido de agente absorbente obtenido en la etapa b, f. absorber dióxido de carbono del gas obtenido en la etapa d mediante el agente absorbente obtenido en la etapa e, mediante lo cual el gas se separa en un gas, que puede desecharse, y un líquido de agente absorbente que contiene dióxido de carbono, y g. aumentar la temperatura y/o reducir la presión del líquido obtenido en la etapa f antes de reciclarlo hacia la columna de rectificación.
