Abstract

El objeto de la invención es un sistema de recogida de variables de participantes en estudios epidemiológicos optimizado mediante un dispositivo electrónico para la recogida de variables de forma que se eliminan numerosos sesgos que suelen estar presentes en dichos estudios. También permite que la información recogida se vuelque a un ordenador para su posterior análisis por parte del equipo investigador. Además, el sistema incluye la importante novedad de la posibilidad de que esos datos (estrictamente anónimos) queden disponibles para cualquier otro investigador. De esta manera, el uso de esta nueva invención puede representar una notable mejoría en la metodología epidemiológica, redundando a su vez, en un destacado avance en materia de investigación en salud: mayor control de los sesgos, mayor aplicabilidad de los resultados y conclusiones, menores limitaciones en los estudios, menor número de participantes, menores costes de investigación, menor duración de los estudios, etc.The object of the invention is a system for collecting variables from participants in epidemiological studies optimized by means of an electronic device for collecting variables so that numerous biases that are usually present in said studies are eliminated. It also allows the collected information to be turned over to a computer for further analysis by the research team. In addition, the system includes the important novelty of the possibility that such data (strictly anonymous) will be available to any other researcher. In this way, the use of this new invention can represent a remarkable improvement in the epidemiological methodology, in turn, leading to a significant advance in health research: greater control of biases, greater applicability of results and conclusions, lower limitations on studies, lower number of participants, lower research costs, shorter duration of studies, etc.
