Abstract

La presente invención define un sistema y método que tiene como objetivo medir la radiación solar directa recibida por un aerogenerador para detectar la formación de hielo. El valor medido se compara subsiguientemente con una curva de radiación teórica en la que los valores medidos en un día nublado están claramente por debajo de las curvas teóricas. La detección se realiza considerando la presencia de nubes y la temperatura. Los parámetros medidos son preferentemente la transmitancia solar directa y la temperatura ambiente.
