Abstract

The flexographic print pattern for e.g. footwear uppers has relief zones receiving the ink for transfer to the surface being decorated through contact between the relief zones. The relief zones have a supplementary pattern system made as a series of small incisions (5). EMBODIMENT - The incisions (5) control the flow of ink (3), for homogeneous extension of this.
