Fig. 1 corresponds to a schematic diagram of the flour and granulate manufacturing process comprising the necessary elements for the optimization and control of the humidity according to the invention.
In this process scheme it can be seen that, in accordance with the object of the present invention, the procedure for the optimization and control of humidity in flours and granules comprises a mixing stage 1, where the solid matter contained in a hopper 2 comes into contact with the water and liquids 3 from a tank arranged for this purpose and communicated with the mixer 10 by means of feeding 9a. Humidity control and optimization in said mixing stage 1 is carried out by continuous collection of the data concerning humidity and / or temperature by means of a probe 8 arranged in the mixer 10. The data captured by said probe 8 are transmitted to processing means 7, such and as exemplified by dashed line 12 communicating probe 8 with said processing means 7. In the case that the humidity of the mixture of solid matter from hopper 2 with water and liquids 3 no meet the required and programmed value, are the same means 7 processors, which in turn govern the power supply 9a, as represented by dashed line 13, those who give the order of adding water and liquids 3 to the mixer 10, controlling the opening of the corresponding valve 14.
Particularmente el control de la humedad en la etapa de mezclado 1, consiste en comparar el valor de la humedad obtenido en la mezcladora 10 a un tiempo determinado de la etapa de mezclado 1, con el valor requerido y programado en función del producto en curso, adicionando seguidamente y durante el período que resta para finalizar la etapa de mezclado 1, la cantidad de agua y líquido 3, correspondiente a la diferencia entre el valor observado y el requerido, a través de los medios de alimentación 9a.Particularly the humidity control in the mixing stage 1, is to compare the moisture value obtained in the mixer 10 at a certain time of the stage of mixed 1, with the required value and programmed according to the product in progress, adding then and during the period that subtract to finish mixing stage 1, the amount of water and liquid 3, corresponding to the difference between the observed value and the required one, through the feeding means 9a.
If If this is the second option, the product from the mixing stage 1, is normally conducted to a hopper of feed 15 where the product can be several days stored. Said feed hopper 15 functions as lung for a feeder 16 located at the beginning of the stage of granulation-extrusion-expansion 4. In said feeder 16 the product of the hopper 15 enters contact with water and liquids 3 from the means of feeding 9b. For the optimization and control of humidity in the 6 granulated product, the procedure considered as a unit the stages of granulation-extrusion-expansion 4 and the cooling-drying stage 5b, adjacent to said step 4. In this case, the continuous collection of the data referring to humidity and / or temperature by means of an 8 'probe ready to leave the stage of 5b cooled-dried are transmitted to the media processors 7, as exemplified by the dashed line 12 'which the probe 8 'communicates with said processing means 7. In the case that the humidity of the granulated product 6 does not meet the value required and programmed, the processing means 7 execute the order of adding water 3, in vapor or liquid form, to feeder 16 by means of the feeder means 9b, as represented by means of the dashed line 13 ', controlling the opening of the corresponding valve 14 '.
The optimization and control procedure of the described humidity allows to obtain floury or granulated products of the required quality and with high levels of efficiency of the production. Indeed, the measurement of humidity in the manufacture of such products is a parameter of high importance because considerably compromises other factors such as their characteristics of hardness, dosage, bacterial contamination, etc. The object of the present invention allows the control and continuous optimization of product moisture, leading to higher production yields because the products contain the maximum moisture percentage allowed for each specialty, without having to make stops at the fabrication process. In addition, from the application of the invention, It is a process that minimizes resources and energy.
