Abstract
Un dispositivo para medidas de diagnóstico de la concentración de óxido de nitrógeno (en adelante NO), caracterizado porque dicho dispositivo comprende un detector (11) de NO, una entrada (1) a través de la cual un paciente exhala aire a un caudal y presión determinados, una cámara (7) de almacenamiento provisional para almacenar provisionalmente una parte del aire exhalado, y medios (10) para introducir dicha parte de la muestra en dicho detector de NO a un caudal adecuado para dicho detector.
Claims (29)
1. Un dispositivo para medidas de diagnóstico de
la concentración de óxido de nitrógeno (en adelante NO),
caracterizado porque dicho dispositivo comprende un detector
(11) de NO, una entrada (1) a través de la cual un paciente exhala
aire a un caudal y presión determinados, una cámara (7) de
almacenamiento provisional para almacenar provisionalmente una
parte del aire exhalado, y medios (10) para introducir dicha parte
de la muestra en dicho detector de NO a un caudal adecuado para
dicho detector.
2. Un dispositivo de acuerdo con la
reivindicación 1, en el que el dispositivo comprende un regulador
(6) de caudal para regular el caudal de exhalación.
3. Un dispositivo de acuerdo con la
reivindicación 1, en el que los medios para introducir dicha parte
de la muestra en dicho detector de NO funcionan de manera que
crean un caudal estable de aproximadamente 0,5 a 10 ml/s durante un
período de tiempo no superior a la duración de la exhalación.
4. Un dispositivo de acuerdo con la
reivindicación 1, en el que el dispositivo comprende medios (12)
para igualar la humedad de la muestra.
5. Un dispositivo de acuerdo con la
reivindicación 4, en el que dichos medios para igualar la humedad
de la muestra consisten en un tramo de tubo, hecho de un material
catalítico de membrana.
6. Un dispositivo de acuerdo con la
reivindicación 1, en el que el dispositivo comprende medios para
verificar los parámetros de la inhalación y para regular los
parámetros de la exhalación.
7. Un dispositivo de acuerdo con la
reivindicación 6, en el que dichos medios comprenden un detector
(2) de presión y medios para dar realimentación al paciente.
8. Un dispositivo de acuerdo con la
reivindicación 6, en el que dichos medios comprenden además un
detector de caudal, y medios para regular el caudal y/o dar
realimentación al paciente.
9. Un dispositivo de acuerdo con la
reivindicación 6, en el que dichos medios comprenden además un
detector (2) de presión capaz de medir la presión absoluta, con el
fin de hacer posible compensar por la variación de la presión
parcial de NO dependiendo de las variaciones en la presión
ambiente.
10. Un dispositivo de acuerdo con la
reivindicación 1, en el que la cámara (7) de almacenamiento
provisional es un laberinto.
11. Un dispositivo de acuerdo con la
reivindicación 1, en el que la cámara (7) de almacenamiento
provisional consiste en un cilindro con un pistón desplazable.
12. Un dispositivo de acuerdo con la
reivindicación 1, en el que la cámara (7) de almacenamiento
provisional consiste en un tramo de tubo.
13. Un dispositivo de acuerdo con la
reivindicación 1, en el que el dispositivo comprende un depurador
de NO a través del que un paciente inhala directamente antes de
exhalar aire al interior del dispositivo, asegurando así que el
espacio inactivo del tracto respiratorio del paciente esté lleno de
aire exento de NO.
14. Un dispositivo de acuerdo con la
reivindicación 1, en el que el dispositivo comprende además una
interfaz para recibir una tarjeta inteligente en la que se pueden
almacenar datos vinculados a un usuario específico, y en la que se
pueden registrar datos de medida.
15. Un dispositivo de acuerdo con la
reivindicación 14, en el que el dispositivo es capaz de adaptarse a
diferentes usuarios o a diferentes grupos de usuarios, basado en
los datos almacenados en la tarjeta inteligente.
16. Un dispositivo de acuerdo con la
reivindicación 1, en el que dicho detector de NO es un detector
electroquímico.
17. Un dispositivo de acuerdo con la
reivindicación 1, en el que el caudal de la muestra cuando se
introduce al detector es menor que el caudal de exhalación.
18. Una tarjeta inteligente adecuada para uso en
un dispositivo de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, cuya tarjeta
inteligente lleva datos concernientes a un paciente individual o a
un grupo de pacientes, en la que al menos los datos siguientes se
registran en dicha tarjeta inteligente:
- -
- fecha y hora de la medida
- -
- FE_{NO} (caudal de exhalación de NO) medido
- -
- N° de identificación (ID) del detector
- -
- N° de identificación (ID) del dispositivo
19. Un método para medidas de diagnóstico de la
concentración de NO que usa un dispositivo que comprende un
detector de NO, caracterizado porque:
- un paciente exhala aire a dicho
dispositivo,
- el caudal y la presión de exhalación se regulan
a un valor prefijado, respectivamente,
- una muestra del aire exhalado se almacena
provisionalmente en una cámara de almacenamiento provisional,
- dicha muestra se introduce a dicho detector
electroquímico de NO a un caudal adecuado para dicho detector,
y
- en dicha muestra se determina la concentración
de NO.
20. Un método de acuerdo con la reivindicación
19, en el que el paciente inhala aire exento de NO antes de exhalar
aire al dispositivo.
21. Un método de acuerdo con la reivindicación
19, en el que el paciente inhala aire a través de un depurador de
NO integrado en dicho dispositivo, suministrando aire exento de NO
al paciente, antes de exhalar aire al dispositivo.
22. Un método de acuerdo con la reivindicación
19, en el que al paciente se le da realimentación audible o visual
durante las etapas de inhalación y exhalación, con el fin de apoyar
las prestaciones correctas de dichas etapas
23. Un método de acuerdo con la reivindicación
19, en el que el caudal de exhalación se regula a un valor de
aproximadamente 20 a 800 ml/s, y el caudal en el que la muestra se
introduce al detector es de alrededor de 0,5 a 10 ml/s.
24. Un método de acuerdo con la reivindicación
19, en el que dicho detector de NO es un detector
electroquímico
25. Un método de acuerdo con la reivindicación
19, en el que el caudal de la muestra cuando se introduce al
detector es menor que el caudal de exhalación.
26. Un método de acuerdo con una cualquiera de
las reivindicaciones 19 a 25, en el que está incluida al menos una
de las etapas siguientes:
- el paciente introduce información relacionada
con su toma de un medicamento.
- el paciente evalúa subjetivamente su estado de
salud e introduce la información correspondiente.
27. Un programa de ordenador que comprende las
instrucciones necesarias para realizar el método de acuerdo con una
cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 19 a 25.
28. Un programa de ordenador de acuerdo con la
reivindicación 27, cuando está almacenado en un
medio.

29. Un método para la determinación de un
diagnóstico sobre la concentración de NO en una muestra de gas, en
el que los parámetros que rigen la toma de la muestra son
diferentes de los parámetros óptimos para la precisión de la medida
de NO, caracterizado porque se usa un dispositivo de acuerdo
con una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 17.
