Abstract

Sorbitol en polvo, caracterizado por presentar: - un valor de higroscopicidad, determinado según una prueba A, inferior a 2%, preferentemente inferior a 1, 7%, consistiendo la prueba A en establecer la curva de isoterma de absorción de agua a 20º C expresando el porcentaje de absorción de agua de un producto en polvo previamente deshidratado que se sitúa en una atmósfera con un contenido de humedad relativo variable a una temperatura de 20º C, siendo entonces la determinación de la higroscopicidad del producto en polvo el porcentaje de absorción de agua a 60% de humedad relativa en equilibrio (o 60% E.R.H., es decir, Equilibrium Relative Humidity). - una superficie específica, determinada según método BET, como mínimo igual a 2 m2/g, preferentemente como mínimo de 2, 2 m2/g.
