Abstract

Improved system for personalising steering wheels. The system described is used to personalise steering wheels for automotive vehicles, noticeably improved in that the foam material that envelopes the metal insert of the steering wheel has flat portions in diametrically opposed positions to which the flat complementary internal portions of the external cover are adapted, with constituting anti-rotation resources the external cover is equipped with an external layer of superficial finishing based on the desired personalisation, and both parts of the external cover and the external layer are longitudinally divided into two halves, applied to the upper and lower part of the steering wheel and can be mutually retained using a clipping action provided by two extensions that, in the form of a hook, have formed in each of the halves directed in an opposite manner and with the hook ends facing each other in a complementary fashion.
