Abstract
Procedimiento para la ejecución de una evaluación automática de la calidad en la transmisión de unas señales acústicas, sobre todo de señales de voz; a este efecto, dentro de una gama de frecuencias son determinados el espectro de una señal de fuente, que ha de ser transmitida, y el espectro de una señal de recepción, que es transmitida; procedimiento éste que está caracterizado porque, para evaluar la calidad en la transmisión, un valor de similitud espectral es determinado por el hecho de que la covariancia de los espectros de la señal de fuente y de la señal de recepción es dividida por el producto de las desviaciones de tipo estándar de los dos espectros.
