Abstract
Procedimiento PSA de separación de un flujo gaseoso que contiene al menos un primer compuesto que se adsorbe preferentemente en al menos un adsorbente y al menos un segundo compuesto que se adsorbe en al menos dicho adsorbente menos preferentemente que el citado primer compuesto, en el cual dicho adsorbente comprende únicamente partículas de una zeolita que tiene una relación Si/Al inferior o igual a 5, elegida entre las zeolitas de tipo X, Y o A, presentando dicha zeolita un coeficiente cinético (ak) y una resistencia intrínseca (a), siendo: ak > 0, 5 s-1 y 0, 10 kg/mm2 < alfa < 2 kg/mm2 determinándose el coeficiente cinético (ak) para una mezcla gaseosa formada por 98 % de O2 y 2 % de N2 con un caudal de alimentación de 2, 36 m3/h, una presión absoluta de 1, 5u105 Pa y una temperatura de 20°C, y determinándose la resistencia intrínseca (a) sometiendo a aplastamiento a por lo menos 25 partículas de adsorbente elegidas al azar para determinar la fuerza máxima de resistencia mecánica (RM) soportada por cada partícula antes de su rotura y midiendo su diámetro (d) expresado en mm, siendo la resistencia mecánica (RM) expresada en kg, la resistencia intrínseca (a) y el diámetro (d) de las partículas, tales que: RM = alfa x d2.
