Abstract
Método para fabricar un refuerzo en un hueco (3) de una pieza componente de un vehículo preferentemente zincada, sobre todo de una columna A (2), una columna B, una columna C, una columna D, un soporte de motor, un soporte trasero, un soporte transversal de techo, un larguero de techo, una pieza del marco, una parte del chasis, donde el hueco (3) se llena con una espuma metálica (4) al menos parcialmente, de modo que, luego de endurecerse, se crea un refuerzo compuesto de espuma metálica (4) en el hueco (3), sobre todo para aumentar la resistencia al pandeo y/o la absorción de energía y/o para reducir el peso de la pieza componente, caracterizado porque como metal de la espuma metálica (4) se utiliza zinc o al menos una aleación de zinc, y porque el metal se espuma de forma tal que resulta un aumento del volumen del metal respecto de la espuma metálica de al menos 1 : 8.
