Abstract

Procedimiento para la obtención de butirolactonas de la fórmula general I en la cual significan los substituyentes R1 y R2 hidrógeno, grupos alquilo, grupos hidroxialquilo o, en caso dado, grupos arilo y trialquilsililo substituidos con halógeno, alcoxi y/o alquilo, mediante reacción de alquinos de la fórmula general II en la cual tienen R1 y R2 el significado anteriormente indicado, con monóxido de carbono y agua en presencia de un catalizador de rodio homogéneo a presiones de 20 hasta 300 bar y hidrogenación de las 2(5H)-furanonas intermediariamente formadas y todavía no hidrogenadas, caracterizado porque a) se hace reaccionar la mezcla de reacción de la carbonilación con hidrógeno a temperaturas desde 150 hasta 250ºC y presiones desde 100 hasta 300 bar, b) se separa el catalizador precipitado y se recicla a la reacción de carbonilación, y c) se obtiene a partir de las mezclas de reacción libras del catalizador la butirolactona mediante destilación.
