Mecanismo de autorregulación del entrehierro en los sistemas de actuación electromagnética. El mecanismo de autorregulación del entrehierro E en los sistemas de actuación electromagnética, compensa internamente el desgaste del disco de fricción D, autorregulando la separación interna entre las dos partes C y B que forman el plato de presión. Cuando actúa el sistema de excitación A, éste atrae a la pieza B, la cual al desplazarse hacia A provoca el acuñamiento de las bolas G entre ella y la pieza C, siendo ésta arrastrada hacia A, perdiendo su contacto con el disco de fricción D, dejando así de ejercer el par de fricción. Cuando A deja de actuar, los muelles F, I y J hacen que el plato de presión retroceda, desbloqueándose C de B, quedando finalmente C haciendo tope contra D y B haciendo tope contra un resalte de la pieza H, el cual asegura siempre el mismo valor inicial del entrehierro E, independientemente del desgaste de D.Self-regulation mechanism of the air gap in electromagnetic actuation systems.
