Abstract

Se describe un procedimiento de producción de zeolitas con una elevada relación atómica Si/Al entre 40 e Ñ, en particular zeolitas del grupo pentasilo, haciendo reaccionar ácidos polisilícicos amorfos con una fuente de iones aluminio y opcionalmente una matriz a temperaturas de hasta 100ºC. El procedimiento se caracteriza porque se añade el hidróxido amónico y/o un silicato alcalino a la disolución de reacción. Las zeolitas obtenidas mediante este procedimiento tienen (a) un tamaño medio de partícula entre aproximadamente 0,3 y 0,6 micras, estando el 90% de las partículas en el intervalo entre aproximadamente 0,1 y 0,7 micras; y (b) más de un 95% de cristalinidad.
