Abstract

Protector para encimeras de cocina. La encimera (1) es de cristal, vitrocerámica o chapa, y incluye unos orificios de paso para los focos caloríficos (2), ya sean de gas y/o eléctricos y, además cuenta con unos elementos embellecedores (3) que tapan dichos orificios. Se caracteriza porque comprende una placa (5) que adopta cualquier tipo de configuración y que está provista de un orificio (8) de paso para el foco calorífico donde va a situarse, de modo que el sobrecalentamiento producido por la ubicación de un recipiente de cocinado sobre el foco calorífico, se anula o reduce por la disposición de dicha placa (5) situada alrededor del foco, constituyendo la placa un elemento de protección térmica contra el referido sobrecalentamiento.
