Abstract

Culata de válvulas elípticas de movimiento compuesto La novedad de la invención consiste en lograr un llenado mejor de los cilindros establecidos en el cuerpo de válvula (1), mediante la implantación de unas válvulas (2) de cabeza elíptica (3), cuyo movimiento lineal de apertura/cierre se ve complementado con un movimiento de giro lateral, con una amplitud de 55°, lográndose ese movimiento de giro mediante la utilización de una guía (8) mecanizada con dos pistas simétricas y helicoidales (9) en las que deslizan sendos pivotes (10) establecidos al efecto en puntos diametralmente opuestos del vástago correspondiente a la respectiva válvula (2). La culata con las válvulas elípticas de movimiento compuesto es aplicable a todos los motores de combustión interna, ya sean de explosión o de inflamación por compresión, independientemente del número de cilindros y de la utilización de aquéllos.
