La lámpara se sitúa en el interior de una linterna y se utiliza en combinación con una cabina refrigerada por debajo de la cual se desplaza el vidrio en continuo o bien se sitúa en el interior de un pequeño proyector en combinación con un espejo elíptico, un cristal dicroico y un objetivo. Para ambos casos la lámpara debe acompañarse de su correspondiente ignitor, de un turboventilador, de una caja de control con contadores, sensores, amperímetros, etc. y de un rectificador capaz de regular la potencia de la lámpara según las necesidades concretas de cada caso.Xenon coherent light equipment for quality control in glass manufacturing.
