Material compuesto de alta resistencia al desgaste y piezas desarrolladas con el mismo. El material compuesto, sintetizado, tiene una matriz obtenida a partir de una mezcla de polvos metálicos compactada y sintetizada comprendiendo un polvo con base de hierro o acero, uno o varios polvos de componentes aleantes, un lubricante de prensado en un porcentaje global inferior al 10 % en peso y un lubricante sólido que es un sulfuro metálico, térmicamente estable a temperaturas de sinterización, participando en una proporción de un 0,5% a un 10%, en peso, según las características mecánicas y tribológicas deseadas, siendo la resistencia a la tracción del material 6 veces inferior a la esperada sin dicho lubricante sólido, con presiones de compactación de 600 a 1000 MPa, con un agente ligante de todos los componentes. Preferentemente dicho sulfuro metálico es MnS. y la mezcla incorpora, además del C, un polvo de alta dureza.Composite material of high wear resistance and parts developed with it. Preferably said metal sulfide is MnS. and the mixture incorporates, in addition to C, a high hardness powder.
