Multiplicador de velocidades, particularmente para vehículos. Comprende un sistema de transmisión (3, 5, 6, 12, 20) capaz de adoptar por lo menos una primera posición, en la cual establece una primera relación de transmisión entre un eje de entrada y un eje de salida, y una segunda posición en la cual establece una segunda relación de transmisión entre dichos ejes; se inserta entre el eje de salida del motor y el eje de entrada de la caja de cambios, y comprende además medios de embrague (15, 16) adaptados para permitir el paso del sistema de transmisión de dicha primera posición a dicha segunda posición y viceversa, y medios de control (30) de dichos medios de embrague (15,16). Permite duplicar el número de marchas, y es aplicable a vehículos de serie de modo rápido y sencillo.Speed multiplier, particularly for vehicles.
