Abstract
Catalizador sólido que contiene titanio. Un catalizador sólido que contiene titanio utilizado para producir un compuesto oxirano por reacción de un compuesto tipo olefina con un hidroperóxido orgánico, donde el catalizador se puede obtener por al menos un método seleccionado de los siguientes (1) a (3):(1) se coloca un compuesto de titanio sobre soporte de sílice que tiene un diámetro medio de poro (D), medido por un método de presionado de mercurio, de 5 nm o más y que tiene unadistribución de poros en la que al menos el 60 por 100 en volumen de poros está compuesto de poros que tienen un diámetro de poro en el intervalo de D{mas 0,3 D (nm), y se calcina,(2) se impregna sílice en agua, luego se seca, y se coloca un compuesto de titanio sobre soporte de sílice, luego se calcina,(3) se impregna sílice con una solución de impregnación que contiene titanio que satisface lo indicado en la siguiente [fórmula-1], y se calcina:A/B {mai 0,2 [fórmula-1]A: número de moles de titanio metal en la solución de impregnaciónB: número de moles de grupo silanol en la sílice.
