Abstract

Cardiological control system via satellite. The system is intended for use or application by cardiology patients, allowing control and monitoring of these, as well as eventual treatment and advice from a specialist or cardiologist in the event of heart attack symptoms, all at a distance. The system, using the means of communication via satellite, through INMASART networks, is based on the incorporation of a repeater unit on the patient that is portable and to which an auxiliary telephone system is connected, acting as a radio transmitter with a modem, which constantly transmits the ECG signal (electrocardiogram) to the PC of the repeater unit, the information being processed by computer according to the patient's pathology, allowing communication between the patient and a remote station where the specialist is established to exchange direct instructions and data with the patient himself.
