Abstract
Terminador flexible de red síncrona. Terminador flexible de red síncrona que incluye transporte del modo de transferencia asíncrona (MTA), cuya finalidad es ser incorporado tanto en redes digitales de servicios integrados de banda ancha (RDSI-BA) como en redes de transporte de comunicaciones basadas en Jerarquía Digital Síncrona (JDS), que es configurable en un primer modo JDS-MTA, en el que realiza las funciones de la subcapa de convergencia de transmisión, y un segundo modo JDS en el que se comporta como punto de terminación de la sección de multiplexación de la JDS, comprendiendo para ello un módulo flexible de proceso de la JDS, un módulo de proceso de MTA, ambos configurables de forma dinámica, así como una interfaz (3) de conexión con un microprocesador externo para la programación de dichos módulos, pudiéndose manipular distintos tipos de tramas asíncronas y de tramas MTA para realizar interfaces asimétricas en virtud de la independencia de la selección en procesos de transmisión y recepción.Synchronous network flexible terminator.
