Abstract

The greenhouse is formed on the basis of a plurality of mutually identical modules 1, of vaulted configuration, each one of them consisting of pieces of mesh with planar geometry, there being a quadrangular, central piece 2 and a series of lateral, triangular pieces 3 which, properly fastened and positioned together, form each module 1. The arrangement of a series of modules 1 over a base structure formed from struts (posts) 4 and channelled sections 5 defines a spatial geometry surface of double curvature, allowing the metal mesh which forms the various modules 1 to work compressively and to acquire the mechanical rigidity required to support the corresponding plastic cover and the forces of the wind which are produced thereon. The plastic cover, also formed from pieces likewise fastened over the channelled sections 5 adapts itself to the domes formed by the different modules 1.
