Abstract
High gain optical concentrator. An optical concentrator designed by the section method and characterized by transferring the radiation (generally light and incoherent) from a non-point source to a receiver, in such a way that a large part (between 85% and 100%) of the radiation originating from the source and intercepted by the concentrator is directed to the receiver, this being able to be the minimum size possible or, which is the same thing, the transfer of radiation to the receiver can be done in such a way that the average irradiance on the receiver is very close to the possible theoretical maximum.
