LOS ULTIMOS SE GLICOSILAN EN LA POSICION 3, NO BENCILADA, CON UN DONADOR DE (ALFA)-L-FUCOPIRANOSILO PARA DAR TRISACARIDOS PROTEGIDOS. ESTOS Y LOS (BETA)-LACTOSIDOS PERBENCILADAS SE DESALILAN Y, POSTERIORMENTE, GLICOSILAN CON UN DONADOR DE 2-AZIDO-2-DESOXI-(ALFA)-DGALACTOPIRANOSILO PARA DAR TETRASACARIDOS Y TRISACARIDOS PROTEGIDOS RESPECTIVAMENTE.
