NUEVO MATERIAL CERAMICO Y PROCEDIMIENTO PARA SU FABRICACION, APLICABLE PARA LA OBTENCION DE LOSETAS, TEJAS Y SIMILARES, A PARTIR DE PIZARRAS Y SUS RESIDUOS, QUE CONSISTE EN TAMIZAR POLVOS SECOS DE PIZARRA A MENOS DE 100 MICRAS, Y QUE DISPONGAN DE UN CONTENIDO INFERIOR AL 5% DE AGUA, PROCEDIENDOSE A LA HOMOGENEIZACION Y ACONDICIONAMIENTO DE LOS MISMOS, PARA POSTERIORMENTE LOS POLVOS TAMIZADOS SER INTRODUCIDOS EN UN MOLDE ELASTICO CERRADO AL VACIO Y SELLADO, SIENDO COMPACTADO EL MOLDE CON LOS POLVOS INDICADOS A PRESIONES PROXIMAS A LOS 170 MPA, PASANDO POSTERIORMENTE EL COMPACTO A SER EXTRAIDO DEL MOLDE MECANIZANDOSE EN PROBETAS RECTANGULARES, RECTIFICANDOSE SI LO REQUIERE CON SIC O MATERIALES ABRASIVOS DE DUREZA ANALOGA, E INCORPORANDOSE EN EL INTERIOR DE UN HORNO DE SINTERIZACION, DONDE ES CALENTADO DURANTE UNOS 30 MINUTOS A UNA VELOCIDAD DE 5° C/MIN., Y A UNA TEMPERATURA APROXIMADA ENTRE 1.150°C Y 1.175°C, PARA POSTERIORMENTE SER ENFRIADO A LA MISMA VELOCIDAD QUE SE CALENTO, PERO EN SENTIDO INVERSO, MENOS 5°C/MIN., MANTENIENDOSE LA ATMOSFERA DE AIRE EN TODO MOMENTO, PUDIENDO TAMBIEN EL MOLDE SER UNA MATRIZ FLOTANTE LUBRICADA CON ESTEARATO DE ZINC, PARA POSTERIORMENTE SER COMPACTADOS LOS POLVOS SECOS MEDIANTE PRENSA, HASTA APLICAR UNA PRESION FINAL QUE OSCILA ENTRE 100 MPA Y 300 MPA, EXTRAYENDOSE EL COMPACTO DE LA MATRIZ E INTRODUCIDO EN EL HORNO DE SINTERIZACION CITADO CON IDENTICOS TIEMPOS Y VELOCIDADES DE CALENTAMIENTO Y ENFRIAMIENTO.
