Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a thermocouple to supply a large current to a magnet side by preventing the intrusion of a corrosive substance into the thermocouple and, at the same time, reducing the internal resistance of the thermocouple. CONSTITUTION:In the thermocouple 1 composed of a lead pipe 4 constituting one lead wire of the thermocouple 1, external electrode 5 which is welded to the front end of the pipe 4 and formed into a shell-like state out of one thermocouple material, and internal electrode 6 welded to the internal wall of the electrode 5 at the front end of the electrode 5 and formed out of the other thermocouple material, the rear end of the electrode 5 is put on the front end of the pipe 4 and the fitted surfaces of the electrode 5 and pipe 4 are brazed to each other.
