EL TRATAMIENTO CONSISTE EN MEZCLARLO CON FOSFATOS CALCICOS ANHIDROS FINAMENTE TRITURADOS, QUE CONTIENEN AL MENOS UN ATOMO DE CALCIO POR UN ATOMO DE FOSFORO. AL CONTACTO DEL ACIDO SULFURICO, SE FORMA A PARTIR DE ORTOFOSFATOS TRI O BICALCICOS, O SU PRECURSOR PIROFOSFATO Y METAFOSFATO, UNOS ORTOFOSFATOS BI O MONOCALCICOS, QUE CRISTALIZAN CON EL AGUA DE SUTITUCION. A PARTIR DE UN SULFATO FERROSO BRUTO, QUE SE AGLOMERA EN MASAS, SE OBTIENEN UNOS PRODUCTOS PERFECTAMENT FLUIDOS CONTENIENDO DE 90 A 97% DE CRISTALES DE SULFATO DE HIERRO HEPTAHIDRATADO, Y DE ASPECTO MUY PROXIMO AL DEL SULFATO FERROSO HEPTADIHIDRATO. SE PUEDE ASOCIAR ESTE TRATAMIENTO A UNO CLASICO, TAL COMO MEZCLA CON UN SULFATO FERROSO PARCIALMENTE DESHIDRATADO Y UN NEUTRALIZANTE TAL COMO CARBONATO DE CALCIO. POR OTRA PARTE EL PROCESO ES APLICABLE A OTROS SULFATOS METALICOS HIDRATADOS CRISTALIZADOS, SULFATO CUPRICO, SULFATOS DE ALUMINO, DE MAGNESIO Y DE ZINC.
