Abstract

Improvement of fuel feed for Otto-cycle reciprocating internal combustion engines and burners. In the pulverisation chamber a fuel mist is formed that is carried by the suction air current in a reciprocating engine or by the air impelled by the pump in the case of a burner. Mixing is achieved by means of ultrasonic vibration generated by a piezoelectric disk (12) located at the bottom of the pulverisation chamber (5). The top surface of the disk supports a column of fuel of determined and constant height "H" to which the vibratory energy is transmitted, generating in this way a pulverisation flow proportional to the electricity supplied to the piezoelectric disk.
