Abstract

Process for obtaining a textile structure that is resistant to impacts and explosions. By means of the inventive process textile structures are obtained that are resistant to impacts and explosions, based on organic fibres with a high elongation modulus and high tensile strength, which organic fibres are poly(P-phenyleneterephthalamide) or copoly (aramides) and ultrastrong polyethylene, with -C-C and -C-H bonds, in such a way that such fibres, duly combined, forming layers with different weights and ligaments, provide a highly effective protective textile structure, being suitable for armour-plating for personal use, armour- plating of vehicles, for protection against knives and/or stilettos, etc.
