Abstract

Hot melt adhesive injection machine for forming an olive fitting onto a cable bundle consists of a press (1) with a mobile head (6) displacing vertically on which is mounted the upper half (10) of a mould as well as the upper half jaws of two pairs of half jaws (11,12). The first pair of jaws (12) are mounted to be able to be moved horizontally in and out w.r.t. the moulds so freeing or tightening the cable bundle. The pairs of jaws (11,12) are fitted with elastic synthetic material inserts (19), applied to the cable bundle prevent back flow of adhesive outward.
