Abstract

The hinged lid of the box has a top part (15) and side parts (17, 19) extending into the interior of the box. One of the side parts (19) is connected to a catch mechanism (11, 22) which determines the open position and the closed position of the hinged lid. When the box is closed, the hinged lid lies securely in the interior of the box and it is virtually impossible for it to be opened unintentionally. When the hinged lid is open, a pouring opening is produced which allows metered removal of the contents of the box. <IMAGE>
