TALES PLANTAS TIENEN LA POSIBILIDAD DE PRODUCIR UN ACEITE VEGETAL DE ESTABILIDAD AL CALOR AUMENTADA EN COMBINACION CON OTRAS CARACTERISTICAS DESEABLES. LA ESTABILIDAD MEJORADA DEL ACEITE VEGETAL ES ATRIBUIBLE A LA PRESENCIA DE UN CONTENIDO EN ACIDO OLEICO INUSUALMENTE ALTO EN LAS SEMILLAS DE COLZA, DEL QUE HAN SIDO DEFECTUOSAS LAS PLANTAS DE COLZA UTILIZADAS ANTERIORMENTE. SE HA ENCONTRADO QUE LAS PLANTAS DE COLZA NUEVAS DE LA PRESENTE INVENCION SE PUEDEN OBTENER FIABLEMENTE POR MUTAGENESIS SEGUIDA DE SELECCION COMO SE DESCRIBE.
